So its finally over,

PROGRESS B)

Hi I have completed the table of contents using some of the names of the models, considering they are all artists who either draw, paint, write or any other form of art. I chose the background of the table of contents to be black to contrast the white of the other side that holds the mission statement and an editor's note. The titles are inspired by poems or pieces of art they have produced, one of the aims of my magazine is to serve as an outlet for feminist perspectives through the usage of multimedia content, as stated in my mission statement. Instead of referring to the magazine as my own, I chose to use a "we," in an effort to assimilate real-world magazines that are produced as a team, rather than solely.

Arugula

HIIIIIII i finished my editor's note and mission statement that I really wanted to do, I believe its important for my magazine considering its aims may be ambiguous! Also I will be finishing the table of contents shortly!!!!!

COVER PHOTO

Hi I was messing around with my friend's drawing pad and using Photoshop.

I created a photo that can be used for my cover picture!!!!!!! I'm not sure if I want to use this drawing or one of my photos from the shoots. The photo goes well with the overall theme of my magazine and I think I will keep it considering I'm on a limited time frame......

Change of Plans

Hi everyone as you know, I still have to take pictures of my earth model, however Bianca can't until Monday, so I decided that it would be better to find another model.
My friend Corina has agreed to do it, so I'll be doing her makeup and taking some pictures of her today. wish me luck!!!!!!

Corina is a genuine, grounded girl that represents earth very well, her nurture instincts and delicacy, resound an earth-like charisma. She has fought like hell to stay true to her beliefs, she is inspiring and unique.

HM the photos!

My pictures are here!!!! I've decided that I should do a mini interview for each girl, they're each so empowering and interesting which is why I chose them. Everyday they inspire me to be more confident and self-assured, they're my own personal heroes, and I think I should let others know why.

Sol: Air

I've known Sol since forever, she's always been someone close to my heart. She's extremely genuine and true to herself, but she's also free-spirted and independent. Her soft face juxtaposes her resilient personality, if anyone would ever do me wrong, Sol would inspire me to stand up for myself and not let anyone treat me as unworthy. Sol is extremely outspoken about women's right to choose. She also encourages women to be in tune with their sexuality and not to feel as if they need to act, dress, speak a certain way in order to be considered "ladylike." Sol wishes to be a writer, she spends her time writing poetry and reading John Keats.

Ana: Water
Ana I met very recently, however the first day I met her I was left completely in awe her personality is like no other. Her confidence is radiating, she truly embraces all her flaws and treats them as her strengthens. It's inspiring to other people around her!!! after being with her I felt moved to stop putting myself down because of my insecurities.

Sara: Fire
Sara and I have been through a lot, she was always there for me, like a fire that never extinguished...
She's been through a lot and each time she overcame something she came back stronger, I always looked up to her for that. Her ability to be okay when everything around her was falling apart. Sara is powerful and passionate, she feels so deeply every emotion. Sara loves to paint, sculpt, and draw she loves making people uncomfortable.

Earth is Bianca and her photo shoot will be on Tuesday YAY!
